Well, the boys wanted to enjoy their first Thanksgiving dinner on the inside, and that is where they remain today.
Doc's appointment on Friday revealed that I'm still about 2 cm, but 90% effaced (or thinned out). We did schedule our 38 week induction for Friday, December 10th. However, we're hopeful that my body will keep progressing and kick into active labor on its own.
The doctor was very positive that things look good for a natural delivery attempt, but we'll have to be prepared for a c-section as well. Baby A is head way down, and Baby B is transverse, or lying across my mid-section. We hope to be able to turn B around after A is delivered and "out of the way," but we'll have to see what happens. I might be one of the lucky ones and get to push one out and have the other one cut out! But, we're hopeful that they will both cooperate and we can avoid the surgery table. Either way, we're very ready to meet these two little guys!

Here are some favorite pictures from this Thanksgiving. (Notice how I'm never the kitchen.) It was so great to have family here!!!
After Thanksgiving, Dad and Tracy came for a visit and treated us to some more good food (including a trip to Chick-Fil-A for a Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake to satisfy a pregnant woman's craving) and lots of help around the house.
Again, you'll notice my absence from the kitchen. :)
Mmmm...so yummy!
Thanks to everyone for the help and for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
Hopefully my next post will include pictures of the boys!!!
