I'm so thankful to have made it to 35 weeks. Now, I feel like we can start to relax a bit and know they should be in good shape whenever they decide to come. And, even if they do need to stay in the NICU for a few days or so, I know they will be in great hands at our hospital. Recently, they've delivered over 100 sets of twins a year!
All check-ups this week went well. My non-stress test on Wednesday showed their heartbeats are both good and healthy. It also showed that they are moving like crazy! Somehow they still have some room in there...I can't imagine.
At my appointment today, all the stats looked good. And...I am now about 2 cm dilated! I have been having a lot of Braxton-Hicks contractions all week, and some are starting to get strong. As the doctor said today, it looks like these "practice" contractions are doing something in terms of getting my body ready. It really could be any day. Wow!
We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Whether the boys are on the inside or the outside, it will definitely be one to cherish!
Wishing all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
So excited for you two! Make sure to get plenty of rest this week to prepare for delivery as well as the long, wonderfully sleepless nights afterwards. I loved getting up with Jack in the middle of a dark night; I loved the feel of him--all snuggly and warm. Can't wait for you both to feel that too (x2!!). =) I'll be thinking of and praying for you!
