The boys had a GREAT first day of preschool. Believe it or not, there were NO tears! (Well, I take that back, Mom had a few tears once she left them...but good, happy, I'm so proud of my little guys, kind of tears. I also teared up a little at pick up when they came running up to me with big smiles.)
Here are our cuties on their big day!
Best Budddies
Charlie - First Week of PDO (Parent's Day Out)/Preschool
Jake - First Week of PDO (Parent's Day Out)/Preschool
Gotta have the Elmo bag, right?
Their teacher sent home a little report card the first day and said they both participated in all the activities, ate all their lunch, and were "Very Social"...especially, ehem, Charlie. ;) On the second day, the teacher told me they were really good helpers. Jake was pretty excited about a scooter he got to ride, and Charlie has already made a new friend named Olivia.
We called Daddy after I picked them up (since he was still on lunch) and the boys shared about their day. Charlie said, "Daddy, we were brave boys today." :) We stopped on our way home and celebrated the big day with some frozen yogurt and then they passed out in the car. What an exhausting morning!
Later that night, I headed to school for my first night of classes. The boys told Scott lots of details (in two year old terms) about their day. We caught little glimpses of story time, music, play ground, new songs, and more. I hope they share this much with us when they are in HS!

I love hearing about the day from two two-year-olds!
