Happy 2 Months!

It's Friday, 02.11.11, and the little guys are 2 months old today!

Charlie:

Just a little sleepy for today's big photo shoot.

"Mom, I just want to cuddle with my bear and snooze! Enough with the pictures already."

10 lbs, 3 oz

At 7 weeks, started sleeping from about 10:30 to 5:00 AM!
Getting much better at controlling and lifting his head, although he is still not a fan of "Tummy Time." We have to get creative to keep him happy on his belly!
Smiles at mom and dad (since about 6 weeks). At first, just in the morning (see "Good Mornin'" post below), but now almost all the time (except when hungry, sleepy, gassy, etc.) :)
"Coos" much more frequently, especially in the morning.
Almost making little giggle noises, usually at his puppy mobile in his crib.

Jake:

I caught Jake in one of his content periods. He had just been giggling at the owl mobile and was still pretty happy.

"Look, Ma, I can lift my head all by myself!"


12 lbs, 2 oz

Slept for 6 hours at night, but only one time. Usually sleeps about 4 hours, eats, then another 3.
Can lift head up steady when on belly and support himself with forearms.
Smiled for the first time(at mom) at 6 weeks.
Rolled over (from belly to back) for the first time on 2.9.11!

Smiles and "coos" at the mobiles in crib and pack 'n play. He especially loves the owl mobile!
Will track people, especially dad, when he hears him talking. He once watched dad during an entire conversation with Grandpa Long - and dad was walking all around the room. (He must have been interested in the tractors they were discussing!)

Both:
Sleeping in own cribs (since 6 weeks).
Still loving tubby time.
Eat about 7 times each day, usually one after another, but sometimes at the same time. That is a juggling act for mom!

They are both doing so well, and Mom and Dad are loving seeing how they grow and change each day. They are such a blessing!
